Lifting of the first 54.5-metre long, 134-tonne, pile from the barge NBB Hope by the Jack-up barge MCD 914 for the Belmont Desalination plant project off Newcastle, NSW.

IMC Naval Architects has undertaken a large amount of design work related to the project for John Holland who are delivering the project for Hunter Water.

The barge, NBB Hope, was originally designed by IMC for the Bridgewater Bridge project in Tasmania.
